Originally a classically trained clarinettist, I now explore the worlds of improvisation and work with interdisciplinary projects. It helps me connect myself to others as well as to discover my many colours. As a child I moved around the world very often with my family and therefore am influenced by a wide range of people, languages, sights, smells, sounds and tastes! I have a solo project (clarinet and pedals) called Preserve The Necessary Beauty which is inspired by a special part of my childhood in a small mountain village, Selvacava in the south of Italy. It's about memories, discovering and appreciating your roots and is an open and active invitation for others to also make this important exploration. It's been the most important project for me so far because it connects different aspects of myself, of my life, which have been constantly present. I'm very much looking forward to perform for you!
