“Stunningly lovely” - The Huffington Post Tenderhearted songwriter James Walker started his journey in the music industry as a session pianist, touring with Adam Barnes, Chris Ayer, and Matt Simons in the early 2010s. James nearly had this all taken away from him, when he suddenly fell ill and needed major open heart surgery in 2013. It was this illness that inspired James to start creating his own solo material, and to date he has received over 10,000,000 streams. James is from London but now lives in Antwerp, Belgium. He is signed to AWAL (Finneas, Bruno Major), and represented by Maximal (Candi Staton), Round Hill (Grey's Anatomy, CSI), and Music Table Korea (girl in red, Lauv). James cites his inspirations as Sufjan Stevens, Copeland, Kevin Garrett and Blood Orange.
