My name is Jane Willow and I'm a Dutch folk musician based in Dublin, Ireland. I often gig in Germany, Ireland and Holland as a solo act or with my incredible band. My influences range from Leonard Cohen to Damien Rice, Gregory Alan Isakov, Nick Drake, Van Morrison, Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell. I've supported the likes of Glen Hansard (Once the movie), Mark Geary, the British mercury nominated The Unthanks and Kíla. In my band I regularly play with Dave Hingerty (drums: Glen Hansard, Josh Ritter) and Vyvienne Long (cello: Damien Rice). As a musician I have also been blessed to have played at Vicar Street, Whelan’s and some of Ireland's biggest music festivals: Temple Bar Tradfest, Body & Soul and Electric Picnic. In Ireland I get played regularly on national radio which has been a dream. What I love most though is connecting with people and moving people with my music. I love playing house concerts so it's been a real blessing for me to have played many house concerts over the past few years.
