After months of quiet quarantine, Vienna’s quintessential underground venue, Chelsea, is slowly and responsibly opening its doors to music-hungry fans and stage-hungry musicians with a special new concert series happening every Tuesday night in June called ACOUSTIC TUESDAY.   Hosted and conceptualized by the American born and Vienna based artist, Ian Fisher, each performance will have three different acts sharing their songs and stories “in the round” with all artists on stage all evening playing one solo or duo song after another. These intimate events make the best out of the current regulations requiring audiences to be seated and to keep a safe distance from one another with only 45 people allowed into each show. The hope behind ACOUSTIC TUESDAY is to reanimate Vienna’s live music culture, to give audiences the experiences they’ve missed, to give artists the live platform they need, and to keep independent venues, like Chelsea, alive.  Live music must live! ——————————— Lineup for June 2nd: Stephan Stanzel [ Nowhere Train / A Life, A Song, A Cigarette ] The Simmeringer songwriter who puts the black air of Vienna nights into songs of longing and loss.   AmelieTobien A wine drenched voice meets a steel string guitar. With her folk chansons, Amelie Tobien melts the two together, inviting her listeners to wander off into the night. Bryan Benner Music Known far and wide as The Modern Troubadour, Bryan Benner is a six-string slinging, Zwickl-drinking son of a son of a sailer.  Ian Fisher (Host)  It's been more than a decade since Ian Fisher left his home state of Missouri and moved to Europe, forever changing his life and his music. With songs that combine an international lyrical perspective and a world-traveler’s musical influences with Americana roots, Fisher has remained on the road ever since emigrating, penning over one and a half thousand songs while also playing hundreds of concerts around Europe, North America, and Africa and performing in a handful of theater pieces in Vienna and Munich.  An independent self-starter who handles his own management, he remains inspired and busy after thirteen albums, earning praise from outlets like Rolling Stone — who described him as one of the new Americana artists you need to know and his 2017 release, Idle Hands, as "half Americana and half Abbey Road-worthy pop”. ———————————  Times: 18:00 - bar opens 19:00 - venue doors open 19:30 - music begins 21:00 - intermission  21:30 - music begins again 22:30 - music ends 23:00 - strict curfew Tickets / Prices: - Pre-sale €12 // Door €15 - Pre-sale tickets at Jugendinfo For more information contact:
